Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, understand, and maintain existing Python scripts used in data pipelines and automation tasks.
  • Design and implement processes to transform unstructured or semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, XML, logs) into clean, tabular formats suitable for analysis.
  • Develop and manage ETL workflows, ensuring data quality and reliability across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or a related field.
  • Open to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to read and understand existing codebases.
  • Proven experience in data transformation from unstructured/semi-structured formats to structured tables.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes; experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) is a strong plus.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, data granularity handling, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in data engineering contexts.
