About the role

As a Steward Supervisor at The Forge Gastropub Bali, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas. This full-time position is based in Badung, Bali, and is an essential part of ensuring the smooth running of this vibrant gastropub.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the work of the steward team, ensuring all kitchen and dining areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  2. Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of steward duties to maximise efficiency
  3. Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary
  4. Provide training and guidance to the steward team to continuously improve performance
  5. Liaise with the kitchen and service teams to identify and address any issues or concerns
  6. Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to
  7. Assist with other duties as required to support the overall operations of the gastropub

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Steward Supervisor or similar role in a hospitality or restaurant environment
  2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  5. Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  6. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
