Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Quality Control (Nickel) professional located in Southwest Sulawesi.

The role focuses on ensuring that nickel ore purchased, inspected, and delivered meets contractual quality specifications. Responsibilities include conducting on-site sampling, supervising assay activities, validating grade results, and ensuring compliance with Good Mining Practice (nickel) and relevant industry standards.

The position also involves monitoring loading/unloading processes, coordinating with surveyors and production teams, identifying quality discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures to ensure consistency and accuracy of nickel ore quality.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Quality Control and Grade Control specifically for nickel ore
  • Strong understanding of nickel ore specifications (Ni level, Fe, SiO₂, MgO, Moisture, LOI, and other key parameters)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Good Mining Practice (nickel)
  • Hands-on experience in sampling procedures, stockpile management, and quality verification
  • Ability to identify quality variations and coordinate corrective actions with mining and operations teams
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with mining sites, surveyors, and logistics teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field
  • Prior experience in nickel mining, nickel trading, or mineral survey/inspection companies is a strong advantage
