Now, as we are expanding, we are looking for a Strategic Planning Specialist to support management in evaluating business and upcoming project opportunities.

This role focuses on business planning, project feasibility analysis, and decision support.

This is NOT a sales or business development role.

About the Role

As a Strategic Planning Specialist, you will support the Owner/Management in evaluating construction and interior design projects from a business and strategic perspective. You will analyze project feasibility, risks, and alignment with company capacity before decisions are made.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and update the company's business plan to ensure alignment with vision, organizational capacity, and market conditions.
  • Conduct strategic analysis of all project opportunities, including strategic fit, financial viability, resource readiness, and key risks.
  • Develop and implement a GO / NO GO decision framework as a standard for project evaluation.
  • Provide written recommendations to the Owner regarding whether to proceed with or decline proposed projects.
  • Perform scenario planning (best case, base case, worst case) for projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify strategic risks, including over-expansion, cash flow pressure, and resource constraints.
  • Monitor the performance of approved projects against the original business plan assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams while maintaining objectivity and avoiding conflicts of interest.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Owner in key business decision-making.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in planning, strategy, finance, QS, PMO, or related roles
  • Experience in construction, interior design, or project-based companies is a strong advantage
  • Able to read and understand RAB, basic cashflow, and project timelines
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured communication
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Comfortable presenting analysis to management

  • Not a sales role
  • Not responsible for closing projects
  • No revenue target or commission-based KPI
