About the role

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser (VM) Supervisor to join our dynamic retail team at NaPocut in West Jakarta. As a Visual Merchandiser Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the in-store experience and driving sales through impactful visual displays. This full-time position offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in the retail industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and implement all in-store and window displays, including product, signage, and props
  • Create engaging visual presentations that guide the customer through the store (the "customer journey")
  • Define store layouts and floor plans (often using a planogram) to optimize traffic flow and product placement
  • Planning annual themes / campaign ~ collaborate with marketing to translate campaign ideas in store visual executions
  • ⁠Ensure store styling reflects the company's brand identity and matches marketing campaign concept
  • Managing product rotation plans include styling the products, display, promotional needs or seasonal
  • Maintaining store or pop up booth visual standards through checklist (fixture regularly to ensure quality, functionality and safety) and VM guidelines
  • ⁠Source, negotiate and manage external vendors or contractors when necessary
  • Monitor project timelines & budgeting for adore decor & property related activities
  • Stay updated on visual merchandising and retail design trends to enhance store presentation

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field is often preferred
  • Proven work experience (typically 3+ years) as a Visual Merchandiser, Visual Manager, or Display Designer, preferably within a retail or fashion environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of creating successful and visually appealing retail displays
  • Proficiency in Design Software: Experienced in using visual design tools, such as: SketchUp (Advanced), AutoCAD (Advanced), Revit (Intermediate), Enscape (Advanced), V-Ray (Advanced), Lumion (Intermediate), Adobe Photoshop (Intermediate), Adobe Illustrator (Intermediate), Canva (Advanced), Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Planning and Organizational Skills, Teamwork and Collaboration
