About the role

Midea Electronics Indonesia is seeking a talented Budget Control Admin to join our team in our central Jakarta office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the management accounting and budgeting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and sound financial decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts
  • Analyse budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support the month-end and year-end financial close process
  • Assist with the preparation of management reports and presentations
  • Liaise with business units to gather required budget and forecast information
  • Maintain and improve budget-related policies, procedures and systems
  • Support ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of financial reporting and budgeting software (e.g. Excel, ERP systems)
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
