About the role

PT Graha Karya Informasi' is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This full-time position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines on the AWS cloud platform. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's data-driven initiatives and helping to unlock valuable insights from our data.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design and implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant data pipelines on the AWS cloud platform
  2. Develop and maintain robust data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  3. Automate data workflows and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our data infrastructure
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  5. Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure data quality and timely delivery
  6. Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders, including data analysts and business users
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our data engineering practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing data pipelines on the AWS cloud platform
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java, and experience with SQL
  4. Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lambda
  5. Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or Apache Airflow
  6. Understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data governance principles
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
