Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead and supervise end-to-end silica sand mine production activities, including land clearing, overburden removal, mining, loading–hauling, and feeding material to the washing/processing plant.
  2. Plan and optimize fleet allocation, cycle time, and production output to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  3. Monitor production quality consistency (Moisture, Fe%, SiO₂ grade) and support plant teams in maintaining product specifications.
  4. Coordinate closely with Plant/Wet Processing, Mine Planning, HSE, Maintenance, and QAQC teams to ensure smooth production and continuous material flow.
  5. Ensure compliance with Good Mining Practice, mine safety standards, and environmental requirements, including reclamation and land rehabilitation.
  6. Oversee stockpile management and support logistics & shipment operations to ensure volume readiness and delivery schedules.
  7. Prepare performance analysis, production variance, cost control, and operational reports for management

Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry, preferably in bauxite or silica mining.
  3. Proven experience in washing plant, hauling, and shipment operations.
  4. Strong capability in mine planning, fleet optimization, and operational execution.
  5. Experience in land rehabilitation or reclamation projects.
  6. Strong understanding of Good Mining Practice and mine safety standards.
  7. Certified POP, POM or POU is mandatory.
  8. Proficient in mining software such as Minescape, Surpac, Datamine, or ArcGIS.
  9. Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
