We are seeking a visionary and talented EV Interior Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will not just be designing a vehicle; you will be crafting a "mobile living space" for the public.

Your primary focus will be designing the interior of our electric urban shuttles, balancing maximum space efficiency, heavy-duty durability for public use, accessibility, and futuristic aesthetics. You will own the process from initial concept sketches and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) development to production realization.

Key Responsibilities


• Concept Development: Generate innovative 2D sketches and visual renderings for vehicle interiors, including the dashboard/cockpit, passenger seating, ambient lighting, and overall cabin architecture.


• Spatial & Layout Optimization: Optimize ergonomics and passenger flow for high-traffic scenarios. Ensure comfort for both seated and standing passengers, while adhering to accessibility standards (e.g., wheelchair access).


• 3D Modeling: Translate 2D concepts into high-quality 3D models (CAS/Surface Modeling) for visualization and engineering feasibility studies.


• CMF & Material Innovation: Select materials that are aesthetically pleasing yet durable enough for public transit (easy to clean, wear-resistant) and environmentally sustainable.


• HMI & Tech Integration: Collaborate with the UI/UX team to seamlessly integrate digital displays, control panels, and smart connectivity features into the physical design.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering Team (Mechanical & Electrical) to ensure designs meet safety regulations, manufacturing constraints, and cost targets.

Qualifications

Education & Experience


• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.


• Fresh Graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience as an Interior Designer in the automotive industry, mass transit sector (bus/train), or related design studios.


• Strong Portfolio (Mandatory): Must demonstrate proficiency in sketching, design thinking, form development, and final rendering.

Technical Skills (Hard Skills)


• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D Software such as SolidWorks, 3Ds Max, Fusion360, Autodesk Alias, Rhino 3D, or Blender.


• Expertise in Rendering Software such as KeyShot, V-Ray, or Unreal Engine.


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for digital sketching and presentation decks.


• Deep understanding of Ergonomics & Anthropometry, specifically regarding public seating and standing spaces.


• Knowledge of interior manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, textiles).

Soft Skills


• User-Centric Mindset: Ability to empathize with the daily commuter and design for the public experience.


• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas to stakeholders.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.


• Detail-oriented with a keen sense of modern style and future trends.

Nice to Have


• Specific experience in designing interiors for Buses, Trains, or Autonomous Vehicles.


• Knowledge of Ambient Lighting design and its impact on passenger psychology.


• Strong passion for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Smart City ecosystems.
