Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled
Electronic Test Engineer
to support the testing, validation, and verification of electronic hardware in a product development or manufacturing environment. The role involves hands-on electronic testing, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with design and development teams to ensure high-quality, reliable electronic systems. Experience in safety-critical or avionics environments will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    electronic equipment testing
    , including functional, environmental, and EMC testing.
  • Develop and execute
    test plans, procedures, and test cases
    for electronic hardware.
  • Operate and troubleshoot using
    test instruments
    such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support
    PCB testing
    , validation, and debugging, considering design and layout constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant
    industry standards
    (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.).
  • Prepare
    technical documentation
    , including test reports, validation records, and compliance evidence.
  • Work closely with hardware design, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
  • Track defects, requirements, and test progress using tools such as
    JIRA or IBM Rational DOORS
    .

Required Technical Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in
    electronic testing
    within product development or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Multimeters
  • Signal generators
  • Spectrum analyzers
  • Experience in
    EMC testing
    and environmental testing.
  • Strong understanding of
    PCB design and layout considerations
    for testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with
    IPC, ISO, and MIL-STD standards
    .
  • Experience with
    test automation or programming
    , using tools/languages such as:
  • LabVIEW
  • C++, C#, Java, or Python

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of
    communication interfaces
