RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Oversee Legal, Corporate Secretary, and Risk Management functions to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and effectiveness.

·       Manage budgeting, licensing processes, government reporting, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including central and regional government agencies, police authorities, and traditional institutions.

·       Handle corporate legal matters (both civil and criminal), including drafting, reviewing, and updating agreements and regulatory documents.

·       Lead risk identification, policy formulation, and the implementation of mitigation strategies to minimize potential business risks and support company profitability.

·       Oversee and drive the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organization.

·       Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks in alignment with company objectives

·       Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and strict adherence to company policies and governance standards.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Bachelor's degree in Law or Risk Management.

·       Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Legal, Corporate Secretary, and/or Risk Management roles.

·       Strong knowledge of corporate law, licensing processes, and government regulations.

·       Familiarity with the COSO/ISO 31000 Risk Management Framework and ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS).

·       Skilled in risk control, audit processes, business process improvement, and regulatory compliance.

·       Professional certification in GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), Legal, or Audit will be an advantage.

·       Experience in the mining, energy, or industrial sectors is highly preferred.

·       Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government and institutional stakeholders.

·       Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business practices.

·       Familiarity with enterprise risk management systems and continuous improvement frameworks.

·       Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
