IT Infrastructure / Senior IT Infrastructure

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable IT Infrastructure / Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to support, operate, and enhance the reliability of LinkIT's cloud, on-premise, and virtualized environments. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, stability, and operational excellence across our infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, and on-premise systems.
  • Perform routine system health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting (L2 – L3).
  • Handle production incidents (P0–P4) and drive timely resolution.
  • Manage compute instances, networking, storage, load balancers, and IAM/policies.
  • Build automation and operational tooling (Bash, Python, Terraform, CI pipelines).
  • Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance optimization aligned with SLAs.
  • Maintain observability platforms, alerting configurations, and operational dashboards.
  • Implement infrastructure security best practices, including patching and hardening.
  • Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation.

Qualifications :

Must-Have Requirements (Mandatory):

  1. Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) in production environments.
  2. Ability to manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, etc.
  3. Experience with AWS networking, security groups, and infrastructure automation.

General Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Infrastructure, System Engineering, or System Administration.
  2. Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  3. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPN, NAT, firewall rules).
  4. Experience with virtualization, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and web servers.
  5. Familiarity with monitoring and observability (metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards).
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  7. Detail-oriented, proactive, and exhibits strong ownership.
  8. Good communication and teamwork.
