Responsibilities:

A. Cost Monitoring & Reporting

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of cost control systems
  • Monitor and track costs and expenditures against project or operational budgets
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cost performance, including variance analysis
  • Ensure accurate allocation of costs across various departments or projects

B. Budget Control

  • Support in the preparation and review of project or departmental budgets
  • Ensure that costs are controlled and do not exceed budgeted amounts
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and manage cost-cutting opportunities

C. Cost Analysis

  • Conduct cost analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in forecasting future costs and financial needs based on historical data and project requirements
  • Analyze the impact of any deviations from budget, identifying root causes and suggesting corrective actions

D. Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records of costs, invoices, and financial documents
  • Ensure that all cost-related documentation is compliant with company policies and procedures
  • Support audit preparation and financial reviews by providing accurate cost data

E. Cost Reduction Initiatives

  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities across projects or operations
  • Assist in the implementation of cost reduction initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditure

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in cost control, accounting, or finance.

  • Experience with cost control tools, budgeting, and financial reporting is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Organization:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Accuracy in cost tracking, documentation, and reporting.
