Role Overview

The Account Director is the senior in-market lead responsible for overseeing all marketing production and execution workstreams in Indonesia. This role manages the relationship with senior client stakeholders, ensures operational excellence across POSM, print, OOH, activation materials, and premiums, and leads a Jakarta-based delivery team to achieve quality, cost, and timeline targets.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the main strategic partner to senior stakeholders in Indonesia.
  • Lead annual planning, campaign planning, and scoping discussions.
  • Guide clients on marketing production best practices, value engineering, and cost optimisation.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships and identify growth opportunities.

Team Leadership (Jakarta Team)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Jakarta account and operations team.
  • Ensure strong collaboration between account management, sourcing, QC, and finance.
  • Oversee workload prioritisation and resource planning across multiple workstreams.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Manage high-volume workflows (POSM, in-store materials, print, premiums).
  • Oversee escalations related to suppliers, production issues, artwork, or approvals.
  • Review work-in-progress reports, forecasts, KPIs, and financials.

Commercial & Governance

  • Manage budgets, estimates, and cost approvals.
  • Ensure commercial compliance, documentation accuracy, and invoice governance.
  • Drive cost savings through vendor selection, value engineering, and specification optimisation.

Cross-Market Coordination

  • Work closely with regional stakeholders, production hubs, and sourcing teams.
  • Represent Indonesia in regional reviews and alignment sessions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in marketing production, activation, or client services.
  • Strong experience with
    POSM, print, OOH, merchandising, or retail activation
    .
  • Proven leadership experience in Indonesia's marketing or production ecosystem.
  • Strong English communication; Bahasa Indonesia fluency required.
  • Excellent commercial understanding and supplier ecosystem knowledge.
  • Ability to lead complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder operations.
