Overview:

We are seeking a licensed and visionary psychologist to lead the development and operation of a school-affiliated Counseling Center. This center will offer student and community counseling, psychological assessments, and mental health seminars/workshops. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental wellness, entrepreneurial in spirit, and committed to building a sustainable and impactful counseling program.

Key Responsibilities: Counseling Center Development & Management

  • Design and establish a counseling center within the school premises and in other school location.
  • Develop operational procedures, intake systems, and service packages.
  • Coordinate with school leadership to align services with student needs.

Counseling & Psychological Services

  • Provide individual and group counseling for students, staff, and external clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling practices.
  • Offer crisis intervention and referral services when necessary.

Assessment Services

  • Conduct psychological assessments (e.g., cognitive, behavioral, emotional).
  • Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations to clients and educators.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.

Seminars & Mental Health Education

  • Organize and lead seminars/workshops on mental health topics for students, parents, and educators.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate mental health awareness into the school curriculum.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with school counselors, teachers, and administrators.
  • Provide regular reports on counseling center activities and impact.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives related to student well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist (Clinical, Educational, or Counseling Psychology).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in counseling or mental health services.
  • Experience in program development or center management is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Paid by the school for core responsibilities.
  • Additional Income: Fee-based earnings from private clients using the counseling center services.
