About the role

As the Tax Supervisor at PT. YAO MEI RESTO', you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's tax compliance and optimising its tax strategies. This full-time position, based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to contribute to the overall financial success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and other relevant tax obligations
  2. Analysing tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's tax practices are compliant and efficient
  3. Providing tax planning advice and implementing strategies to minimise the company's tax liabilities
  4. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
  5. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advising the management team accordingly
  6. Supervising and mentoring the tax team to maintain high standards of work
  7. Representing the company in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a specialisation in Taxation
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a tax supervisory or managerial role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
  3. Thorough knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify tax-saving opportunities
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Proficiency in using tax-related software and tools
  7. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
  8. Placement in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta Utara
