Overview

We're looking for a
Sr. Software Engineer Backend
who loves solving complex problems and building systems that scale. You'll be at the heart of our product, designing and shipping backend services that power seamless, secure, and high-performance experiences. You'll work across teams to bring ideas to life, shape our architecture, and help us move fast without breaking things.

What You'll Do

  • Build, ship, and scale backend services that handle real traffic and real impact.
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations that connect our systems with the outside world.
  • Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and data teams to turn ideas into reliable, production-ready features.
  • Write clean, secure, and efficient code that other engineers love to work with.
  • Own features end-to-end—from design and development to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Continuously improve our systems for performance, scalability, and developer happiness.
  • Explore new tools, frameworks, and architectures that can give us a technical edge.
  • Share your knowledge through mentorship, code reviews, and open collaboration.
  • Build internal tools and automations that help the whole team move faster.
  • Spot opportunities to innovate and make things better—then take the lead to make it happen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable systems.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including Expertise in Python and/or Golang, Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elastic search, and Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment on platforms like AWS or GCP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and code quality
  • An innovative and growth-oriented mindset, eager to explore new technologies and improve existing solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • A data-informed approach to technical decisions and performance optimization
