Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Internet of Things (IoT) systems, including embedded devices (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.), industrial electrical infrastructure, and backend systems for data processing and cloud integration. This position requires cross-disciplinary skills — combining electrical, embedded, and backend engineering — to deliver intelligent, automated, and integrated energy or industrial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IoT devices based on microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
  • Build and maintain backend systems for IoT data integration with cloud services (REST API, MQTT broker, WebSocket, etc.).
  • Design system architecture for device management, telemetry, and real-time monitoring dashboards.
  • Develop APIs , Python FastAPI, or Go) for communication between devices, backend, and cloud.
  • Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or InfluxDB).
  • Implement communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP, LoRa, GSM, Wi-Fi, BLE).
  • Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS IoT Core, Google IoT Core, Azure IoT, or open-source stacks such as ThingsBoard or EMQX).
  • Build dashboards to monitor energy, power consumption, and machine performance (Grafana, Node-RED, or custom dashboards).
  • Analyze, test, and troubleshoot both electro-mechanical devices and backend IoT systems.
  • Install and maintain low-voltage electrical panels (LVMDP, MCB, MCCB, grounding, etc.).
  • Perform troubleshooting for electrical systems, networks, and software-hardware integration.
  • Ensure compliance with K3 (Occupational Safety), SNI/TKDN, and electrical safety standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D, software, and field technician teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience in IoT, backend development, or distributed systems (fresh graduates with a strong project portfolio will be considered).
  • Proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, , or Go.
  • Experienced in embedded programming (Arduino IDE, C/C++, MicroPython).
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical installation, wiring, protection, and distribution panels.
  • Familiar with cloud deployment and infrastructure (Docker, Linux server, API hosting).
  • Solid grasp of APIs, WebSockets, database design, and IoT data pipelines.
  • Ability to read and design electrical diagrams, PCB schematics, and system architectures.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards (K3, SNI, IEC) and cybersecurity for IoT devices.
  • Certifications in Electrical Safety, PLC Programming, or Cloud Engineering are a plus.
  • Hands-on problem solver, willing to work on-site, and able to perform under pressure.
