Job Description:

  • Ensure full adherence to Indonesian environmental regulations related to hazardous (B3) waste management.
  • Oversee regulatory monitoring to ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and standards.
  • Manage internal compliance assurance to maintain alignment with company policies and national requirements.
  • Handle permitting processes required for B3 waste management operations.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports according to government and company guidelines.
  • Ensure operational conformity with national standards and internal company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (Minimum) in Environmental Engineering or closely related fields.
  • Maximum age: 35 years (Male or Female).
  • Minimum Experience : 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian environmental laws, regulations, and standards, especially hazardous and non-hazardous waste laws, regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of hazardous waste management operations.
  • Experienced in environmental permitting process.
  • Experienced in environmental management and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001.
  • Experienced in environmental regulatory reporting, including SIMPEL, SPEED, and Festronik.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret environmental laboratory analysis results.
  • High adaptability, critical thinking, integrity, and attention to details.
  • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from shareholders, management, peers, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership characteristics.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and oral).
  • Able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Visio).
  • Able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Certified as Person in Charge of Hazardous Waste Management (Penanggung Jawab Pengelolaan Limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun).
  • Certified as Person in Charge of Air Pollution Control (Penanggung Jawab Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara) and/or Person in Charge of Water Pollution Control (Penanggung Jawab Pengendalian Pencemaran Air).
  • Experienced in Environmental Audit.

  • Experienced in PROPER.
  • Having international experience.
  • Knowledge of international environmental conventions and standards relevant to hazardous waste management.
  • Experienced in harmonizing compliance practices with international best practice standards.
