Job Description: Software Engineer Intern (AI Agents)

Title: Software Engineer Intern (AI Agents)

Team: Innovation Team

Location: Hybrid - Indonesia

About This Role

This is not a typical internship. You will be a full-fledged member of our new Innovation Team, mentored by a Senior Engineer and our Chief Product and Innovation Officer (CPIO).

You will ship real code and help build AI agents for scalable internal and commercial products. We are looking for a smart, hungry, and curious student or recent graduate to learn how real-world, next-generation AI products are built from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Team: Assist the Senior and Junior engineers with their tasks.
  • Testing & QA: Create test cases and run experiments to find bugs in our AI agents.
  • Simple Tool Building: Learn to build simple "tools" for the agent (e.g., "build an agent tool that uses this public weather API").
  • Simulation Data: Help create and manage datasets for running simulations.
  • Documentation: Help document our code, APIs, and processes as you learn them. This is critical

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science (or a related field) OR a very recent graduate/bootcamp-grad.
  • Python Basics: You must have basic knowledge of Python and programming fundamentals.
  • Extreme Eagerness to Learn: Your attitude is more important than your experience. You can be motivated, not afraid to ask questions, and a fast learner.
  • Problem Solver: You are resourceful and can use Google/documentation to try and unblock yourself before asking for help.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Any personal project in Python (please share your GitHub).
  • Basic understanding of what an API is.
  • Participation in a hackathon or coding club.
