Senior Chemist

Responsibilities:

1. Assist supervisor with daily activities of lab and ensure that quality control processes are running well.
2. Conduct analyses in laboratories for quality or process control.
3. Implement and verify the CRM for quality control of minerals laboratory.
4. Report to supervisor on quality control.
5. Ensure instruments are maintained and working at optimal condition. 
6. Ensure adequate safety standards are implemented. 
7. Other tasks as assigned by superior; including assigned to remote sites.
8. Maintain good working condition, team work and ensure that Quality and HSE safety standard are carried out during daily activities.

Requirements:

1.   Minimum education D3 in applied chemistry.
2.   Minimum 5 years experience in the laboratory.
3.   Good understanding of environmental lab process and services. 
4.   Discipline, show initiative, and good team work.
5.   Skills in computer application software (spreadsheets, word processing).
