Job description:

1. To perform the daily activities of function related to procurement arrangements:

  • Prepare and conduct end to end sourcing process related with IT commodity include but not limited to advise and execute sourcing strategy, reviewing RFP, due diligence requirement, research potential vendors, review business requirement, negotiate, compare and evaluate proposal from vendors, prepare comparison sheet / price analysis, vendor selection and announcement, contract management and other related process or documentations as required

  • Develop sourcing strategies (supplier and industry analysis. benchmarks, cost structure analysis and others) for and Identifies opportunities for strategic initiatives related with Marketing commodity or other commodities assigned by manager

  • Ensure compliance with the procurement process and high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Control on spending and build a culture of long-term saving on company costs

  • Using procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data analysis

  • Collaborating with finance and other teams to ensure procurement activities align with efficiency goals

  • Evaluating and recommending improvements to procurement flow, policies and procedures

2. Vendor and Contract Management:

  • Address vendor issues to ensure the highest level of service delivery and maintain contractual and long-term business relationships with vendors.

  • Review third-party agreement, Maintain & improve Third-party supply base and its competitiveness in the market and vendor performance

  • Identification of new potential supplier, leverage and consolidate third-party contract to gain best commercial outcomes.

  • Conducts vendor audits and evaluate based on audit facts or other key business criteria

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate with key stakeholders

  • Gather, review and analyse procurement flow, policies and procedures

  • Liaise between various business departments and groups

  • Assess options for process improvement, including business process modelling

  • Maintain documentation and approval regarding various projects, processes and operations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the procurement / supply chain position with at least 3 years of experience as senior buyer / sourcing preferable in IT commodity.

  • Experience in financial industry will be an advantage

  • Proficiency in using Coupa would be added value

  • Ability to understand and analyse stakeholder needs and provide effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities.
