About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Junior Engineer to support our IoT and Robotics R&D teams. In this role, you won't just sit behind a desk—you will help build, assemble, and test real hardware, from industrial sensors to autonomous robots.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Mechanical Design: Assist in designing simple enclosures, brackets, and robot parts using CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
- Hands-on Assembly: Perform soldering, wiring, and cabling for PCBs, sensors, and control panels.
- Prototyping: Build and assemble mechanical and electrical prototypes for testing.
- Testing & Support: Assist the engineering team in field testing robots and IoT devices, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Documentation: Create simple wiring diagrams and assembly guides.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Soldering Skill: Must be comfortable using a soldering iron for through-hole or basic surface-mount components.
- CAD Basics: Familiarity with 2D/3D design tools (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks).
- Tech Savvy: Basic understanding of microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi) is a huge plus.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, not afraid to get your hands dirty, and ready to troubleshoot hardware problems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with 3D printing or laser cutting.
- Basic programming knowledge (C++ or Python).
