Saltlick Bali, a fine dining steakhouse restaurant is looking for a CDP in Grill Section to help manage our kitchen and deliver top-quality dishes. You'll assist in cooking, supervising staff, and keeping everything running smoothly in our fine dining steakhouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in the hot section, including meats, seafood, and vegetables.
- Ensure that all food preparation meets restaurant standards for taste, presentation, and quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in managing and training junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Bachelor degree in Culinary
- Min. 2 years experience as a CDP or in a similar role, preferably in a similar restaurant concept (fine dining).
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques for meat, seafood, and vegetables.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Extensive knowledge of meats and international cuisine
- A creative and proactive approach to developing new dishes and improving existing recipes.
