Job Title: Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) Manager

Reports to: Finance Director / CFO

Job Summary

The FAT Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire financial health of the company. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strict compliance with pharmaceutical accounting standards, managing tax strategies (including Transfer Pricing), and providing strategic financial analysis to support manufacturing and distribution operations.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management & Analysis (FP&A)

  2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts for all departments (R&D, Sales, Production).

  3. Cash Flow Management: Optimize working capital, particularly managing the high-value inventory typical of the pharma sector.

  4. Accounting & Reporting

  5. Financial Statements: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/PSAK and local regulations.

  6. Internal Controls: Maintain a robust control environment (SOX or equivalent) to prevent fraud and ensure data integrity.

  7. Tax Compliance & Strategy

  8. Tax Filing: Manage the preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax (PPh 21, 23, 25, 29) and Value Added Tax (PPN).

  9. Transfer Pricing: Oversee Transfer Pricing Documentation (Master File/Local File) for intercompany transactions, especially common in multinational pharma groups.

  10. Tax Audits: Act as the primary liaison for tax authorities during audits and represent the company in tax disputes.

  11. Audit & Compliance

  12. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual statutory audits.
