Our Sister Company, Sentinel Tech, currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Golang)

Sentinel Tech was born out of the hospitality industry by technologists inside the hospitality industry. Sentinel Tech specializes in hospitality technology in all forms. Combining 25 years of hospitality experience, we are now delivering our service that answers all of your pain points in hotel PMS experience.

OVERVIEW

We're looking for a talented Senior Golang Developer to join our growing team at Sentinel Tech. You'll be a key member responsible for developing and enhancing our flagship Property Management System. This product is already mature and feature-rich, with exciting improvements planned throughout the year.

Your expertise in Golang will be crucial as you lead the backend development, collaborating closely with our existing team of developers, project managers, subject matter experts, and QA specialists.

GENERAL SKILL SETS WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • You should have extensive experience with Golang, ideally with at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • You should have strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, and familiarity with table partitioning.
  • You should be very comfortable designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.

  • You must be confident using Git in a collaborative environment.

  • Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis, etags, service workers, and HTTP cache headers is highly desirable.
  • You should be experienced writing clean, efficient, and maintainable asynchronous code.
  • Experience with AWS services such as RDS (PostgreSQL), Lambda, and API Gateway is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with WebSockets, especially through AWS API Gateway, would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with AWS SQS is beneficial, though not mandatory.

  • Basic experience or willingness to learn some frontend technologies (particularly ) would be helpful, but your core strength should be backend-focused.

  • Prior exposure to columnar databases like AWS Redshift or

    Athena/Parquet would be a nice bonus, though not required.
  • You should have a genuine passion for technology and software development, continually seeking opportunities to improve your skills.
  • Comfort working in a Linux environment is preferred.
  • Good English communication skills (medium proficiency or better) are required.
  • This position is a contract-based or PKWT position
LOCATION

You have the flexibility to work from our offices in Jakarta or Bali. Remote or hybrid work arrangements can be considered after an initial onboarding period demonstrating your productivity and reliability.
