Job Description Summary :

Research, develop, and implement industrial processes from raw materials that result in the desired final products within the manufacturing process. Solve organizational and production related problems efficiently using the fundamentals of design, engineering / quality tools, data analysis, and technology. Implementing new processes and technologies to accommodate new product instructions, increase capacity, improve efficiency, and reduced costs. Ensure manufacturing process is in accordance with improved quality, increased output, improved efficiency, and decreased downtime to improve profitability.

Job Description :

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and standardize products and processes and initiate plans that drive improved performance.
  • Create proposals, and create design for potential project in improving manufacturing process, and effectively communicate idea to upper management level.
  • Provide technical assistance to operating departments to implement changes for process improvements.
  • Maintain quality service by following organization quality system standards within the manufacturing process, including material handling improvements, and safety procedures.
  • Compete duties assigned by upper management level.
  • Analyze data from various sources within the manufacturing process to identify trends in build quality and efficiency.
  • Responsible for diagnosing situational-operational problems found within manufacturing process and drive corrective action, recommending remedial measures.
  • Ensure proper execution by monitoring personnel in On-the-Job training and operating procedures.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum recognized bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with GPA 3.0 (of 4.0)
  • Having min. 5 years of experience in process engineering section in chemicals industry or engineering company. Or Having minimum 4 years of experience of process engineering position in Oleochemicals industry (Fatty Acid, Biodiesel, Fatty Alcohol & downstream) with proven knowledge & ability.
  • Having experience in handling people or subordinate will be highly considered.
  • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker and could communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Ability to multi-task and execute the work for multiple job at various kind of works.
  • Having knowledge on Process Safety Management, especially Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change, Process Safety Information & Pre-Start Up Safety Review
  • Required language: English
  • Understanding the implementation of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015.
  • Willing to be placed in Deli Serdang, North Sumatera
