Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Product Development, located in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility to work from home as needed. The Head of Product Development will lead and oversee product strategy, research and development efforts for innovative skincare solutions. Responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying trends, managing product design and formulation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The role also involves managing and mentoring the product development team while driving the success of product pipelines in alignment with market and consumer needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Market Research to identify trends and insights that influence product development
  • Proficiency/experience in Research and Development (R&D) to develop and test new skincare formulas using innovative approaches (Ideal)
  • Leadership experience in Team Management to inspire and guide product development teams effectively
  • Understanding of Sales and consumer-driven strategies to align product offerings with market demand
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the personal care or beauty industry is a significant advantage
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Product Development, Business, or a related field
