  • Conduct routine patrols in restoration blocks to detect potential fire hazards.
  • Ensure firebreaks, watchtowers, and firefighting equipment are in ready condition.
  • Educate surrounding communities about fire prevention and emergency procedures.
  • Perform initial fire suppression (initial attack) in case of fire occurrence.
  • Operate firefighting equipment (pumps, hoses, fire extinguishers) according to SOP.
  • Coordinate with team members and relevant parties during fire escalation.
  • Monitor access to restoration areas to prevent illegal activities (encroachment, burning).
  • Support wildlife and habitat protection from human disturbances.
  • Report violations to the PBPH Restoration management.
  • Assist in restoration plant maintenance (watering in nursery, weed control), especially during dry season.
  • Support soil moisture and water table level (WTL) monitoring.
  • Participate in rehabilitation activities.
  • Prepare daily reports on patrols, firefighting equipment condition, and fire incidents.
  • Document protection and area management activities

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Willing to be stationed at the restoration site (Palembang).
  • Ready to work under emergency conditions.
