Architect Manager

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage a team of architects, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions
• Oversee the design process, from concept development to detailed design, ensuring projects adhere to budget, timeline and quality targets
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications and other technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards
• Identify and implement best practices to improve design efficiency and quality
• Actively participate in business development activities, such as pitching for new projects and attending client meetings

What we're looking for

• Degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar Architect Manager or Senior Architect role
• Proven track record of leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver complex architectural projects
• Excellent design and technical skills, with a strong understanding of architectural principles, building systems and construction methodologies
• Proficient in using various design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM tools
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, actionable plans
• Proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality work within defined timelines and budgets
