Geology Grade Control Supervisor

Job Description :
- Coordinate work plans for Foremen and other crew members.
- Monitor and evaluate mining activities and the performance of subordinates.
- Plan barging and blending activities according to company demands.
- Report mining activity results (reconciliation) on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Ensure production quality meets the company's predetermined COG (Cut-off Grade).
- Apply safety principles (K3) to mining activities.
- Coordinate mining directions to Foremen and crew members.
- Responsible for pit samples and ensuring they are sent to the lab.
- Report pit activities to the Superintendent.
Job Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in Geology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in grade control, production geology, or mine geology in nickel mining
- Strong understanding of ore control, sampling, QA/QC procedures, and data validation.
- Proficiency in geological and mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Leapfrog, Datamine, Micromine, ArcGIS).
- Willing to be placed in Solomon Islands with a 20:4 roster.
