Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the trading team and the risk team on analytical projects.
  • Using coding in Python/R or similar to create an analysis portal and risk alerts
  • Write and perform unit tests and debug Python code. Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable reports and dashboards using Data Visualisation Tools and regularly summarise insights to influence decision-making.
  • Extract the data required to run the analysis to produce reliable and robust results
  • Provide analytical insight into customer trading behaviour, helping shape and enhance the firm's trading and risk management strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written & oral
  • Extensive experience with Python/R, SQL, or similar coding languages, with a track record of delivering successful data-driven projects.
  • Additional technical proficiency in Python, C/C++, Django, , JavaScript, MySQL, and Git (preferred).
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and present insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
