About the role
We are seeking a skilled Risk Analytics & MIS professional to join our dynamic team at PT. Kredit Utama Fintech Indonesia. As a contract position, you will be responsible for providing strategic insights and analytical support to drive the company's risk management and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our fintech organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct in-depth risk analysis and develop tailored risk models to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks
- Gather, analyse, and interpret complex data to generate comprehensive management information systems (MIS) reports
- Analyze and monitor month-to-month data trends from multiple data sources (SLIK, FDC, CBI, multiplatform, telco, KYC, etc.) to generate actionable insights and drive data-driven decisions in credit risk management
- Develop and test new feature engineering strategies for credit scoring models, focusing on improving predictive accuracy and model performance
- Conduct comprehensive evaluation and backtesting of features to ensure robustness, scalability, and alignment with business objectives in underwriting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making processes and improve operational performance
- Develop and maintain advanced analytical tools and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key business metrics using tools like Looker and BigQuery
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on risk management and operational strategies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in risk analytics, financial analysis, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, modelling with clean, readable coding style, and visualization tools (such as Python, SQL Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong knowledge of data science tools: Numpy, Pandas, or SciPy; expertise in at least one backend framework: Flask, Django, or Jupyter Notebook
- Proficiency in mainstream databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Hive SQL, or similar technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and driving operational improvements
- Working knowledge of financial regulations, risk management principles, and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematic or a related quantitative field
