Gym Attendant

Job Summary

The Gym Attendant at Reload Sanctuary plays a key role in delivering a premium guest experience within our high-end fitness environment. This position ensures the gym is clean, safe, fully equipped, and welcoming at all times while providing exceptional service to members and guests. The Gym Attendant supports fitness operations, maintains equipment, and helps create an atmosphere that reflects the luxury standards of Reload Sanctuary.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to members and guests.
• Assist clients with equipment guidance, basic instructions, and facility navigation.
• Ensure guests feel comfortable, supported, and attended to during their visit.
• Respond to inquiries or requests promptly and politely.

Facility Cleanliness & Presentation

• Maintain spotless and organized gym areas, studios, and locker rooms.
• Regularly sanitize equipment, mats, benches, and high-contact surfaces.
• Ensure towels, amenities, and supplies are stocked at all times.
• Uphold the luxurious look and atmosphere of the gym.

Equipment Oversight

• Monitor the proper use of gym equipment to ensure guest safety.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Set up or arrange equipment for classes, PT sessions, or events as needed.

Health & Safety

• Enforce gym rules and safety guidelines with professionalism.
• Identify and report potential hazards or safety concerns.
• Support emergency procedures when necessary.

Operational Support

• Assist with membership check-ins when required.
• Support trainers and coaches with class preparation and guest communication.
• Monitor inventory of towels, amenities, cleaning supplies, and small equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of cleaning, maintenance, and operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a gym, fitness center, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and safe exercise practices.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and equipment handling tasks.
