About the role
Apple Tree School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant, nurturing team. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. This full-time position is based in Batam Riau Islands, where you will have the opportunity to foster a love of learning and help our students develop essential skills for their future success.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of Kindergarten students
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Assess students' progress and development, and provide individualised support to help them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and the broader school community to support students' holistic growth
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices
- Contribute to the overall success and positive culture of the Apple Tree School community
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a Kindergarten or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in teaching young learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Proficiency in the local language and a good command of English
