Role Description

This is a on-site role for a Homeschool Freelance Science Teacher based in Tabanan (near Nyanyi), Bali. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans for science subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and natural sciences . Daily tasks include preparing and teaching engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. The role also involves maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment with lots of hands on activities.

The student you will be teaching is 8 years old. My other 4 year old son may join in the activities from time to time.

I'm imagining the lessons will be twice per week however the exact schedule will be determined with the successful applicant.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher with a background in Science Education
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and curriculum development
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Experience in homeschooling or alternative education settings is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field
  • Must already be based in Bali
