Welding Inspector

• Inspect welding on heavy equipment components (such as buckets, booms, arms, frames, etc.).
• Ensure weld quality meets technical specifications and company standards.
• Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as needed.
• Coordinate with production and QA/QC teams to address welding defects or rework.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain proper documentation and reporting to internal and external.
• Participate in audits, client inspections, and quality meetings as needed.

• Ensure Safety, Health & Environments procedures are followed during welding and inspection activities.

• Minimum Certified in Structural Welding Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

• Proficient in reading technical drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Design and structural calculation skills
• High level of computer skill
• Good understanding of welding consumable and plate designation
• Good understanding of NDT inspection method including MPI, PT and Ultrasonic
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• High level communication and reporting skill
