Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize Data Warehouse structures (fact, dimension, star/snowflake schema).
  • Build and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Improve data quality, performance, and reliability across DWH environments.
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Develop and maintain data marts, metadata, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot ETL issues, data inconsistencies, and system performance problems.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI teams, and Analysts to deliver accurate, ready-to-use data.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehouse development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, optimization, stored procedures).
  • Experienced with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, DataStage, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of DWH concepts (star schema, fact/dimension, SCD, data modeling).
  • Familiarity with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Experience with data quality, data governance, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, Java) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
