Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and execution-driven
Visual Merchandiser
with strong experience in
beauty retail
, including
3D counter design
and
vendor management
. The ideal candidate combines aesthetic sensitivity with practical retail execution skills, capable of transforming brand concepts into high-quality in-store experiences.

Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Merchandising Execution

  • Plan and implement in-store VM displays, counters, and seasonal campaigns based on brand guidelines.
  • Ensure product placement, tester layout, and promotional displays meet brand standards and improve customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular store audits to maintain visual consistency and merchandising hygiene.

2. Counter & Fixture 3D Design

  • Independently design or adapt
    counter layouts, fixtures, shelving, and VM structures
    using 3D tools (SketchUp, 3D Max, Rhino, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Produce technical drawings and mockups for production, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
  • Optimize design for both brand expression and cost efficiency.

3. Vendor & Production Management

  • Manage relationships with VM vendors, fabricators, and printing suppliers.
  • Communicate design specs, material requirements, and production timelines clearly.
  • Review samples, conduct quality checks, and ensure on-time delivery and installation.
  • Negotiate cost estimates and ensure compliance with budget.

4. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Training, and Retail Operations to support product launches, promotions, and new store openings.
  • Train retail teams on VM guidelines and campaign execution.
  • Provide VM-related insights and improvement suggestions based on store performance feedback.

5. Research & Innovation

  • Monitor beauty industry VM trends, counter design concepts, competitor display strategies, and global best practices.
  • Bring innovative, customer-centric visual solutions tailored to the brand DNA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related fields.
  • 3–6 years of VM experience in beauty/cosmetics
    (skincare/makeup brands preferred).
  • Proficiency in 3D design tools
    such as SketchUp, 3D Max, AutoCAD, Illustrator, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of materials, lighting, fixture engineering, and retail environment design.
  • Proven experience in
    managing VM suppliers
    , production quality control, and installation follow-up.
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work in fast-paced retail cycles and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits and installations.
