Role Overview
The Head of E-Commerce will own the full online business strategy to drive revenue, profitability, andmarket share across all platforms. This role leads P&L, builds commercial plans, and partners with
cross-functional teams to unlock growth in beauty and retail categories. The ideal candidate is both
strategic and hands-on, with strong operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy & P&L
• Build, lead, and execute the end-to-end e-commerce strategy + marketplaces)
• Own e-commerce P&L including topline revenue, margin, pricing, and trade spend
• Forecast sales, set targets, and ensure monthly/quarterly business delivery
• Identify new growth opportunities (new platforms, partnerships, exclusives)
Marketplace Management
• Lead business performance on Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Blibli, and others
• Oversee campaign planning, target-setting, GMV growth, and promotional calendar
• Manage account relationships with platform PICs and negotiate commercial terms
Digital Marketing & Traffic
• Partner with Marketing to drive traffic and conversion (paid ads, SEO/SEM, CRM, affiliates)
• Optimize consumer acquisition cost, ROAS, and retention
• Build strong channel content and merchandising strategy
Operations & Supply Chain Alignment
• Ensure accurate stock planning, forecasting, and fast replenishment with SCM team
• Improve order-to-delivery processes: fulfillment, SLA, logistics performance
• Manage fraud control, commissions, cancellations, and return rate targets
Brand & Category Development
• Create channel-specific assortment plans and online-first activations
• Lead pricing governance, online promo mechanics, bundling, and discount strategy
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and platform trends
Leadership & Team Management
• Build, develop, and mentor an e-commerce team (KAMs, performance, ops,
product/content)
• Drive a data-driven culture with dashboards, analytics, and insights
• Manage agency partners for operations, ads, store management, or creative needs
Performance & Reporting
• Deliver weekly/monthly reports on sales, ROI, campaign results, KPI trends
• Use platform analytics, internal BI, and market insights to guide business decisions
• Provide post-mortem analysis and optimization action plans
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related field
• 3–5+ years in e-commerce or digital business; 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven experience managing large GMV and marketplace P&L (IDR 50B+ annual preferred)
• Strong commercial mindset with marketplace negotiation and category management
experience
• Deep understanding of marketplace mechanics, performance marketing, and e-commerce
ops
• Data-savvy: proficient with dashboards, forecasting, and business planning
• Leadership excellence: able to build, inspire, and scale teams
• Hands-on problem solver with comfort in fast-paced, high-growth environments
