How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive E&I work packs that serve as the "construction bible" for field teams
• Defining the Scope: Breaking down the project into manageable Job Cards (e.g., Cable Tray Installation, Loop Checking, Small Bore Tubing).
• Material Readiness: Generating and verifying MTOs (Material Take-Offs) for cables, glands, junction boxes, and instruments to ensure zero delays during shutdowns.
• Technical Documentation: Compiling as-built drawings, P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, and Termination Schedules into a single, scannable package.
• Permit & Safety Integration: Identifying specific isolation requirements (LOTO) and Hazardous Area (Ex) certifications needed for the specific brownfield zone.
• Bridge the gap between design and maintenance by providing technical oversight for E&I issues:
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead investigations into E&I incidents to prevent recurrence in the new design.
• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for specialised troubleshooting
• Manage the complex "touchpoints" where new engineering meets existing infrastructure
• Site Surveys & Validation: Conduct physical "walk-downs"
• Tie-In Planning: Coordinate the exact sequence for "hot cuts" or "cold cuts" during scheduled turnarounds (TAR) to ensure the facility can restart safely.
• Inter-Discipline Alignment: Liaise with Piping and Civil engineers to ensure E&I supports (like secondary steel) don't clash with new process lines.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in
  Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
  (or related discipline).
• Minimum
  8–10 years of experience
  in
  E&I construction and methods engineering
  , with strong exposure to
  brownfield projects, shutdowns, or TAR activities
  in oil & gas facilities.
• Proven experience in developing
  Engineering Work Packs (EWP)
  and job cards for E&I activities (cable works, loop checking, instrument installation, small bore tubing).
• Strong knowledge of
  E&I materials and MTO preparation
  , ensuring material readiness during shutdown windows.
• Good understanding of
  E&I technical documentation
  (as-built drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, termination schedules).
• Familiar with
  Permit to Work, LOTO, and hazardous area (Ex) requirements
  in operating plants.
• Experience in
  E&I troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  , including coordination with OEMs/vendors.
• Hands-on experience with
  brownfield interfaces
  , including site walk-downs and tie-in planning (hot/cold cuts).
• Ability to coordinate effectively with
  Piping, Civil, and other disciplines
  to ensure constructability
