Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Raja Ampat Regency. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, handling accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires collaboration with the management team to support the resort's financial sustainability and eco-tourism mission.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and expense tracking
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with environmentally sustainable practices is advantageous
