Marker (Shipyard Division)

Job Description

• Follow all safety rules, company regulations, and Occupational Health & Safety policies.
• Interpret and review approved drawings, plans, and specifications to determine marking requirements.
• Perform accurate marking of steel plates, profiles, and structural components for cutting, drilling, and assembly.
• Measure and check dimensions using precision instruments (tape measures, calipers, squares) to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare templates, patterns, and layout guides as required for fabrication.
• Collaborate with fitters, welders, and CNC operators to ensure marked materials meet production requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the marking area and tools.
• Report any discrepancies, material issues, or measurement problems to the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marking steel structures or outfitting in shipbuilding.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, fabrication layouts, and dimensional accuracy.
• Experience coordinating with fitters, welders, and other fabrication personnel
• Minimum High School / Vocational Technical School graduate
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with precision measuring tools and templates.
• Good communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
