Job Description

As part of the AIRROWES GLOBAL LOGISTIK team, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of sea freight shipments, both export and import. You will be at the forefront of providing the best service to our customers and partners, as well as ensuring that each shipping process runs efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities

• Handling the entire export-import shipment process, from receiving instructions to completion, including pre-alerts to agents.
• Ensuring efficient transportation solutions by booking, arranging, and confirming cargo space with carriers.
• Preparing and processing essential shipping documents (including bills of lading) for smooth and compliant shipments.
• Collaborating with customs brokers by providing necessary information and documentation (e.g., Outward/Inward Manifest, PIB, PEB) to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Coordinating cargo pickups, arranging transportation to the Port of Loading (POL), and managing trucking and Delivery Order (DO) processes to the final destination.
• Ensuring accurate and timely payments by verifying vendor invoices and submitting cost information to the billing team.
• Monitoring shipments in real-time using tracking systems, addressing potential issues, and providing regular status reports to clients.
• Generating up-to-date reports to review shipment progress, enabling informed decision-making.
• Establishing efficient communication with external and internal partners, as well as customers, to guarantee smooth transportation arrangements and quick issue resolution.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by engaging in problem-solving, demonstrating dedication to exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Job Specifications

• Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sea freight (export & import). Fresh graduate also encourages to apply.

• Experience in handling various types of commodities.

• Education:

• Minimum of Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in logistics, transportation, or international trade. High School or SMK also encourages to apply.

• Skills:

• Understanding of sea freight shipping processes and procedures (export & import).

• Understanding of customs regulations and required documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Indonesian.
• Ability to operate computers and office applications.

• Certification:

• Having customs certification is an added advantage.
