RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspection: Conduct routine aircraft inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
  • Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as engine overhauls, component replacements, and system repairs, following aircraft manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
  • Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair aircraft components and systems, including engines, landing gear, avionics, and hydraulic systems.
  • Testing: Conduct operational tests and diagnostic checks to ensure proper system functionality after maintenance or repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including logbooks, service records, and compliance with FAA documentation requirements.
  • Safety: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure aircraft, crew, and passenger safety.
  • Emergencies: Respond to unscheduled maintenance requests and emergency repairs, even during non-standard hours.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement: Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an FAA-approved aircraft mechanic school or equivalent training program is typically required
  • Hold a Basic License (C1, C2)
  • Aircraft maintenance experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and components

  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs
  • Familiarity with aircraft manuals, technical documentation, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with fellow mechanics, engineers, and supervisors
  • Understanding of safety regulations and strict adherence to safety protocols
