Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Engineer provides technical support throughout the sales cycle for Network, Infrastructure, Virtualization, Server, Storage, HCI, Security, Cloud, and Wireless solutions. This role works closely with the Sales and Delivery teams to design solutions, prepare proposals, conduct presentations, and ensure technical alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the presales process for Network, Wireless, Security, Virtualization, Server, Storage, HCI, Cloud, and Backup & Replication solutions.
  2. Analyze customer business and technical requirements and develop appropriate, cost-effective technical solutions.
  3. Conduct technical presentations, demos, POCs, and solution walkthroughs for customers.
  4. Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, BoQ, pricing structures, and other documentation.
  5. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure accuracy of solution scoping.
  6. Stay updated on technology trends and maintain relevant vendor certifications.
  7. Provide technical support during tender processes, sales meetings, and customer engagements.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as Pre-Sales / Technical Engineer in Network & Infrastructure.
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills in English (oral & written).
  4. Solid understanding of:

  5. Network & Security: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point (knowledge of at least one required).

  6. Infrastructure: Virtualization, VMware, HCI, Server, Storage, Backup & Replication.
  7. At least one relevant certification (CCNA/CCNP, NSE 1–3, PCNSA, CCSA). Having multiple certs is a plus.
  8. Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL, or ISO 27001 is an advantage.
  9. Ability to create structured solution designs and technical documentation.

Willing to work in Surabaya and travel when required.
