Inspect coating materials and processes to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct visual and appropriate testing as per Inspection test plan to assess the quality of coatings applied to equipment and structures.
- Provide all progress reports on inspection to Project managers and QAQC on timely manner.
- Review technical documentation, including coating specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure all requirements are met.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting all findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
- Perform audits on coating procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during coating activities.
- Provide guidance and training on coating inspection procedures to subcontractors, as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of Coating Inspector experience in shipyard, oil & gas industry or related field
- Certification in Coating Inspection (NACE CIP Level 2 or FROSIO) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in coating inspection within the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines.
- Good planning and execution skills.
