We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchasing Officer to join our team in Bogor, Indonesia. As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization's procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Process and edit purchase requests from various departments
- Correspond with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate favorable terms
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Maintain detailed records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to identify the most cost-effective suppliers
- Proactively communicate with colleagues and suppliers regarding order status and resolve any issues
- Assist departments in raising purchase requests using company systems
- Follow up with the finance department for vendor payments and monitor advance payments
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain appropriate documentation
- Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar purchasing role
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., FMC systems) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Proactive and efficient work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required
