Join us as Evolution Engineering Manager for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be managing a team of engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective and timely ABB evolution projects to customers. With the deep knowledge of ABB DCS Hw & Sw lifecycles (S+,800Xa, Advant, Melody etc.) and related evolution strategies you will be formulating evolution plans, allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. Reporting to Regional Engineering Manager in driving engineering standardization, identification and implementation of adaptive leavers in each project and establishing stronger collaboration with global execution center (OPCs) for continuous cost optimization and quality improvements besides will be responsible for Evolution service projects delivery for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Brunei. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jakarta, Indonesia, Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performing high complex Service evolution on different ABB and 3rd party products and systems besides actively works to develop innovative solutions to improve plant’s reliability
- Contributing to higher customer satisfaction and Interacting with the customer to provide customized solutions and creating excellent relationship and new sales opportunities
- Overseeing contractual work within own area of responsibility and assists actively in new service product development
- Ensuring that the engineering team is adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs and completion of risk assessments, opportunity assessments (e.g., variation orders and claims) and implementation of resulting actions across projects
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that correct suppliers’ services and equipment are available to support the engineering execution
- Developing and drives continuous improvement activities to improve processes, policies, procedures, and effectiveness within one’s area of responsibility
- Ensuring (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized
- Participating in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets and constraints

**Your background**:

- Bachelors' degree in Electrical or automation and minimum 10 years combined experience in leadership/management and engineering
- Deep knowledge of ABB DCS portfolio and related Evolution strategies, Technical Experience working with 3rd party Automation and Electrical products and solutions in Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power Generation domain
- Experience with multicultural involvement and engagement and demonstrated ability to develop, implement and execute effective KPI’s
- Poses strong people management skills and excellent English communication skills
