The Drives Service Engineer travels to customer sites and support our customers with their installation, commissioning, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial equipment (LV- & MV-VFD) in industrial sectors especially in the minerals & mining industries.

Areas of Responsibility:

- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and upgrades after installation
- Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, commissioning, operation, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites
- Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in relevant service fields.

Bachelor/Diploma degree of Electrical Engineering.

Drives Service Engineer
- Understand the principle of operation of AC motor and AC drive (LV- and MV-VSD).
- Understand various load type of AC drives and various control mode of AC drive.
- Experienced working with MV motor and MV drives.
- Diagnosing issues, troubleshooting problems, providing technical supports.
- Generate proper service reports and documentations.
